Mortal Engines

Rated: 8/10

All the human emotions of betrayal obsession anger jealousy and revenge are the nuts and bolts of this machine centric freaky post apocalyptic action adventure.

The good news is that even if you are spareparts allergic, you will get caught in marvelling at the super human imagination that has been put into the movie to show you how London is a tanker city on wheels headed to collide and destroy anything that comes in its way.

Hollywood’s cinematic imagination has long been running wild and Mortal Engines is a quantum but intoxicating leap in that direction. The wheel city of London looks amazingly similar to a pirate ship on Tanker crawlies and the entire story of revenge, ambition and survival mix well into the well-knit scenario which keeps you on the hook for the entire show. Brilliant localing and special effects get you going in a manner that may even surprise your responses.

A must film to watch and enjoy.
