If besides your grocer telling you that he has no salt, your chemist says the glycerine has disappeared as well, all you need to do is land up at the doorsteps of the producers of Tum Bin 2 to demand why there was need for them to make every character — well almost — cry from the beginning till the very last frame and that is meant to be taken literally.
Those who had seen its prequel that was released in 2001, Part 2 has no surprises or new to offer since the makers have ensured that the basic storyline remains the same — just there are new faces — who by the way have a tough time emoting. Probably that is the reason why they were made to cry all the time.
So if you are the kind of person who cries at the drop of a hat, you may want to carry a handkerchief with you. But what will come to your rescue is the fact that you may not have cash in hand to buy tickets to go see this one. If you the cashless kind, stay away from this one.
But if you can sit through this tear-jerker and digest the not so great performance, then may be you can sit back and enjoy the exotic locales — the snow covered mountains, the lush greenery, clean roads and well not so many people.
