Flop show with no Kapil

Fans of Comedy Nights With Kapil (CNWK) were in for a rude shock when, for two consecutive weeks, Kapil Sharma was missing from the show. Though the show was hosted by Sajid Khan and Arshad Warsi, they failed to tickle your funny bone despite the gags.“When we heard the news that Salman Khan’s episode on Comedy Nights would  be the last, we couldn’t believe it till we saw the next two episodes where Kapil was missing. Both these episodes were very disappointing. Sajid Khan and Arshad Warsi were trying their best to make the audience laugh but failed miserably,” Gauri Mehta, an avid fan of CNWK tells you.

The reason why Kapil was missing was because he wanted to take a break from his show and do a live show in Dubai and shoot for his upcoming movie Kis Kis Ko Pyar Karu. On July 20, 2015, the entire team of CNWK left for Dubai and from there on to the US for their live shows. A recent picture of Sharma released on the social media network show him sitting in a groom’s attire wearing sherwani and sehra. Does that mean that he is getting married secretly or just shooting for a scene for his movie director by Abbas MustanIJ Or is the picture a promotional stuntsIJ 

Another speculation doing rounds is that Sharma has decided to walkout from the show due to financial issues. Plans are afoot to launch Comedy Nights Bachao with Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh lehri and other popular faces like Sara Khan, Bharti Singh, Anita Hassanandani, Pritam Singh, Karan Wahi and Pooja Banerjee. Sources tell you that this new show will air on Saturdays from August 29, 2015. Every episode will have a celebrity guest.

However, for now, fans of Kapil show can heave a sigh of relief with the channel releasing a promo announcing that the man will be back in action this week and be seen doing what he does best — entertain and make the viewers laugh.
