One can’t hit a high each time a new movie releases on the OTT platform. MILF comes under the category of one can’t always win even though the film is unapologetic about what it is all about — that is all about being raunchy with skinny dipping at night and bawdy escapades. Or the fact that the six characters go on about how being a cougar is bad but an MILF is good. Given that the film does nothing to stimulate the brain or any other body part, it makes this film boring from the word go despite the subject about three 40-year-old women who go on a vacation with a plethora of relationship issues and the trip is all about taking a break.
Even though one gets a glimpse of the vulnerability of each woman, the shenanigans — flashing while driving, the camel toe joke and the ogling by three 20-something year olds of our main leads in bikinis is cringe-worthy even though age is just a number. It is just sad and pathetic how the dance parties and sunbathing take one on mindless affairs that tries to be funny and rather than give an insight into human relationships, it takes one on a ride that needs to be given a miss.
