Contemporary classical music duo Shadow and light will present songs from their third album Sabar. Comprising of Anindo Bose (Advaita) and Pavithra Chari, Shadow and light will take their audience on an emotional journey, expressed through poignant songwriting and contemporary - classical compositions live. This will be the duo's first live set from the album which has launched exclusively on Saavn. Anindo and Pavithra will be joined by Aveleon Giles Vaz and Steve Peter on drums and bass respectively.
Sopan – Festival of Young Musicians & Dancers

From vocals and instruments to dance forms, the six-day festival would be a showcase of the country’s young talent in traditional art forms. Inaugural day of the festival begins with a rendition of the National Anthem by Alisha Mohan, followed by Neeraj Kumar on Tabla, Mohiniyattam by Aishwarya Radhakrishnan, and Kathak performance by Samreetha Chandra. The show on Day 2 would be kicked-off by Azmat Ali Khan on vocals. Next up is Roshan Prasanna on Sarod, followed by Vishwanath Mangraj’s Odissi performance and Anjali Munjal’s Kathak showcase. Vishwanath would perform Hamsadhwani Pallavi and Srita Kamala — an Odissi abhinaya based on the song taken from the Gita Govinda of Jayadev.
Organised by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Department of Art, Culture, and languages, Government of Delhi, the event will be inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia.
