Secret Superstar Premiere
Bringing back the Dangal fame Zaira Wasim with Aamir Khan, this highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017, Secret Superstar film is all set for its World TV Premiere on Zee Cinema on Sunday, February 25, at 8 pm. Secret Superstar narrates the story of a young girl who dreams to be a singer but faces several restrictions from her conservative and abusive father until she meets a musician who can make her dreams come true. The film features Zaira Wasim, Aamir Khan, Meher Vij and Raj Arjun in lead roles, is written and directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.
Commenting on being a part of the movie, actress Meher Vij shared, "I remembered my school days while shooting for this film - we were so disciplined, studious and sincere. Such dedication is hard to find but we learned so much and loved every bit of it. As they say films can influence people, it's our responsibility to make the right kind of films and I hope this film can inspire people to chase their dreams with more perseverance."
It's time for little Singham
India's most successful super cop franchise, Singham directed by Rohit Shetty is all set to go a notch higher with a new animation series called little Singham that will air on Discovery Kids in April 2018. little Singham is an original kid's content series in India that will be aired in four languages — English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu targeted at kids belonging to the age-group of five to 11 years. In collaboration with Discovery Kids, Reliance Animation & Rohit Shetty Picturez, the first season to go on air with 156 episodes and five tele-features.
When asked about this collaboration, Rohit Shetty said: “Singham was hugely loved by the kids and a show like this will not only take the franchise ahead but will also become a source of entertainment for the kids and audiences who love Singham so dearly.”
38th Brit Awards
The 38th Brit Awards is back filled with power packed performances, speeches and much more. The Awards, which will be held at the O2 arena in london, will be hosted by Jack Whitehall. Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Dua lipa are one of the few extraordinary artists performing at the ceremony this year.
