Zindagi’s new drama Main Hari Piya sheds light on an ocean of complications depicting the differences between the rich and the poor. Main Hari Piya is a story of Parisa (Soniya Hussain), a girl from a middle-class family who gets married to Zawar (Agha Ali) who belongs to a rich and influential family. The show starring the talented cast of Agha Ali, Soniya Hussain, Zeba Ali and Anum Fayyaz will premiere on August 22, and air every Monday to Saturday at 8 PM on Zindagi.

Actor and model Meghna Naidu has been roped in to play an intense role in Zee TV’s weekend show Ek Maa Jo laakhon Ke liye Bani Amma. Known for playing negative roles, Meghna will be seen essaying the character of a seductress called Hanan. With a knack of enchanting men, Hanan is the toast of the town. The upcoming track will see her fall in love with Parvez (Played by Shawar Ali) and will pose a threat to leading lady Zeenat (Played by Urwashi Sharma)'s relationship with him. Hanan’s character and look has drawn inspiration from Rekha’s in Umraao Jaan!
“For the first time, I’m playing a character which is neither a demon nor a historical one, but just a simple and a strong role. Hanan is a sensual and bold lady, who is affable and fun loving. She isn’t harmful, but people often get offended with her conduct. She is someone who uses her seductive charm to make her way in a man’s world. Her only purpose is to irk Zeenat and win Parvez’s heart, as she has madly fallen in love with him,” Naidu says
