Three soap — Bade Acche lagte Hain, Kehta Hai Dil Jee le Zara and Desh Ki Beti Nandini are all set to be replaced by reality shows. Kehta Hai Dil Jee le Zara will go off air in April. However, seems like the channel is going for a total makeover. Entertainment Ke liye Kuch Bhi Karega’s new season and the new show Encounter (hosted by Manoj Bajpai) will replace Kehta Hai Dil… and Nandini... by April. Bade Acche will be replaced by either Amitabh Bachchan or Jaya Bachchan’s TV show.
Zee trendz to shut
Zee Trendz, a lifestyle channel which was launched on May 1, 2013, will be going off air April 5, 2014 due to below average performance. The Zee Entertainment Enterprises ltd will shut the channel from all direct-to-home and cable TV platforms. Airtel Digital TV had removed the channel in January. Zee Trendz competed with international fashion channel FTV, a premium international music and lifestyle channel, it reached over 16 million households.
Bhoot aaya returns
Sony Entertainment Television’s Bhoot Aaya is all set to enthrall its audience with yet another spine chilling episode this weekend. The thriller will see actor Sheeba, also the producer of the show, a part of the episode. She will be seen portraying the role of a Bengali mother who will fight with supernatural forces in order to save her daughter. Sharing screen with her is the talented theatre actor Makrand Deshpande.
So, get ready to be spooked on March 23 at 11:00 pm.
