I don’t like promoting my films: Ajay Devgn
This week UTV Stars’ Breakfast to Dinner will take a peek into the life of Bollywood’s versatile actor Ajay Devgn. The day starts with Ajay Devgn parting his Juhu residence in a hurry with no time for breakfast as the day ahead is filled with media interactions. While most films bank heavily on promotions, Ajay candidly admits that he still cringes when it comes to promoting his films. He discloses, “I don't like the phase of promoting my films as I find it very boring.”
“I don’t think anybody likes the phase of promoting films, because you end up answering the same questions over and over again. There is no creative thought process involved and beyond a point it does get boring,” Devgn adds. As the day continues and the journey to his destination elongates, Ajay is reminded of those days when Mumbai was traffic-free and how he loved driving back then.
Breakfast to Dinner also catches up with Ajay’s best buddy and the uber talented director, Prakash Jha. Catch Bollywood’s versatile actor, Ajay Devgn, exclusively on UTV Stars Breakfast to Dinner on Sunday October 13 at 7 pm.
Bachchan proposes to Sangeeta on KBC
It was a dream come true for Sangeeta Ghosh (Sanchi of Jee le Zara) on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) as Amitabh Bachchan proposed to her in front of the entire audience. Now before you get any thoughts, here’s the entire story.
Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaaz made a special appearance on the show for the Dussehra special episode. During the game, AB asked Ruslaan as to when will he actually express her feelings to Sangeeta in the show and he said: “Sir aapne bol diya hai ab mein jald kar dunga.” AB asked Ruslaan to demonstrate to him how he would propose to her. He gave Ruslaan a rose and told him to go ahead and propose to Sangeeta. Ruslaan said holding the rose, “Yeh ek phool hai and pointed towards himself— aur yeh ek fool hai, agar aap is fool se yeh phool le, toh mein apne aap ko foolish se coolish samjhunga”.
AB replied, “Agar aap aise propose karoge toh ladki bhaag jaaegi”. He then took the rose from Ruslaan and went down on his knees and recited a dialogue from the movie Silsila and proposed to Sangeeta. Her happiness knew no bounds and she was seen blushing the entire show. Catch Amitabh Bachchan proposing to Sangeeta Ghosh on Kaun Banega Crorepati today October 13, 8:30 pm only on Sony Entertainment Television.
