State Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Secretary Vandana Dadel on Sunday advised the youngsters of Jharkhand to understand and recognise the priceless heritage of the State.
She was speaking these words at the Valedictory session of ‘Srijan’, the cultural programme organised at the State Museum every year to spread cultural awareness among the local school and college-goers.
This year dancing, painting and singing competitions were conducted at ‘Srijan’ wherein around 600 students participated and were felicitated individually by State Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs officials for the courage to express their talent at this artistic platform.
Highlighting on department’s take to organise such events regularly since 2009, Dadel said, “Our main objective is to create the urge of knowing the regional culture with the help of various co-curricular activities.”
Youngsters in schools, colleges and universities have more reason to celebrate at the state museum as ‘One Act Play’ and ‘Instrumental playing’ competitions would be held from August 24 to 25.
