A railway contractor was shot by few unidentified criminals while another sustained bullet injuries under Sector 9 police station in Bokaro on Wednesday night.
According to the police Birendra Singh (41), a resident of Sector 9 Street- IX was shot dead by the criminals while his brother-in-laws Ramesh Singh sustained bullet injuries in the attack.
Criminals pumped five bullets near the chest of Birendra, he died on the spot while Ramesh immediately rushed to Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) later doctors referred him to RMCH, police said.
We are investigating into matter, said police. A case has been filed at local police station and cops are on hunt.
