Tragedy struck in the Chandrapura soon after the body of 21-year-old Suraj Kumar rushed to his native place on Sunday. Suraj was a B Tech student of a Manglore-based engineering college. He drowned while bathing in a Damangiri sea-beach at Nantanga on Wednesday noon.
Suraj along with his friends on Goa trip and on their way they are taking bath on a sea-beach when the accident occurred and claims my son’s life, said Sashibhushan Prasad Verma, father of the deceased. There was a huge gathering present on the last rite, given tribute to the departed soul.
