A 45-year-old middle-aged man belonging to a particular community was lynched to death at Dhavaiya village under Mahuatand police station area in Gomia block of Bokaro district.
According to police sources, the young man was murdered in a love affair and the incident is being told between 7 and 8 pm on Thursday night.
In relation to the incident, it is being said that at the time when the young man was beaten up, a procession of idol immersion was also going on at some distance.
Police present in security reached the spot and sent the injured youth to Ramgarh Hospital in critical condition and after getting first aid the doctors referred him to RIMS. However, the doctors of RIMS declared him dead after examination.
In order to avoid mutual tension in the village, the police of the district along with Rapid Action Force have been camped in the entire village.
Meanwhile Section 144 has been imposed in the entire village till further orders There is silence in the whole village.
Bermo SDPO Satish Chandra Jha said that a case has been registered against 21 persons on the identification of the relatives of the deceased in the matter.
After this, 11 people were arrested by the police for questioning. At the same time, according to reports, the deceased had an illicit relationship with a woman from another community of the village, which was annoying to the villagers.
However, there is no confirmation about this. It is said that for this reason the incident has been carried out while the police are probing the whole matter.
