On Saturday evening near Kathara in Bokaro district a youth consumed poison at his house and ended his life. A suicide note has been recovered by the police after his death, police sources said.The youth identified as Uday Kumar (26) who was unemployed and residing at CCl, Kathara no IV under the Bokaro Thermal police station.
According to police sources, Uday left his home around 5 pm on Saturday and ordered liquor, mixed poison with it and consumed it. He had returned his home and told his parents about consuming poison. His parents immediately rushed him to the DVC hospital but he died during his treatment. Exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained. Some reliable sources told that Uday was in distress due to unemployment. The body has been sent for autopsy and a case has been registered in the Bokaro Thermal station.
