Published on:

To encourage the virtuoso of tomorrow Kairali school organised a two-day science exhibition at its premises. Young mind depicted their creativity in various streams including Science, Mathematics, English, Economics, Computers, Physical Education, arts and others.

Students from class V- XII showcased an array of  models on organic campus, best out of waste, rain-water harvesting, Piezo electricity, heart working model, chemical garden, bio-plastic, flood management, fun with fire, lie detector, wave walkers, hockey and football stadium. Apart from this students beautifully displayed the problem of India due to urbanisation, unemployment, poverty and merits of foreign direct investment. Moreover, there was Rajasthani folk-lore puppet who acted on themes of conservation of wildlife, Shakespeare’s famous poem The seven ages.

The heritage club of the school also prepared an eye catching presentation on unity of diversity. The students flawlessly explained about their model to each visitor, every model reflected a new kind of creativity. Abhijeet Choudhary of class X grabbed the maximum sight of the people who showcased a model based on automatic traffic and street light system which reflected the idea of how to stop the misuse of electricity of street lights which are often found lit during the daytime.

He explained, “This model is based on the concept of lDR (light Dependent Resistance) and Relay. When solar light falls on the circuit of lDR then it increases its resistance due to which it current do not flow from it as a result no light can be lit during daytime, but slowly as it grew dark the resistance decreases which leads to lit all the lights.”

He further added, “This will help in conserving electric to a great extent moreover no manpower is required behind it to inspect whether the street lights are turned off or not during the daylight. Besides mentor my father supported me a lot to come up with this concept. In our city in many areas we find street lights are on even in daylight which is a waste of our resource. Through this concept we can save our future.”

Ramanuj Sharma Physics teacher said, “I provided the students my round-the-clock help so that they can effectively present their idea on this platform. The basic motive behind organizing such activities is to give them an opportunity to learn things practically, moreover man is a social being many things it herit from the environment which he sees around it, so our students learn many things by observing others presentation too and I personally feel that such activities upgrade our students knowledge to a great extend.” looking at the presentation of the children the school principal, Ranjan Verges was mesmerized with delight. He wished his students will write the school name with golden letters in near future. He said, “For my students sky is the limit, I can see young Faradays, Newtons and Edisons among them.”
