Yashwant wants speedy development work

I have sanctioned thousands of development schemes worth more than Rs19 crore, but the district administration has not yet cleared schemes of MP funds. The district administration is directly responsible for the slow progress of the development work in the district.

I have instructed the deputy commissioner of Hazaribagh to speed up all the development schemes”, stated senior BJP leader MP Yashwant Sinha in a Press conference organised at Circuit House, Hazaribagh, on Tuesday evening.

He said that the Hazaribagh unit of BJP has prepared a detailed programme to strengthen the party organisation at block and panchayat level. Party workers conference will be organised in each and every block of the district. After that a rally will be organised in Ranchi in the month of November. In this rally the senior party leaders of BJP will participate.

On the issue of rehabilitation and service of displaced persons of CCl Hazaribagh area Sinha said that an advisory committee was formed after the long agitation. This committee had suggested that a cooperative society of displaced persons will run the coal dumps. He said that it has not been implemented by the CCl management yet and next week he is going to raise this issue with Coal Ministry in New Delhi.

Sinha also discussed with the officers on the issue of Integrated Action Plan and directed them to select such schemes for Naxal-infested areas which are useful to the villagers.
