The hour long close door meeting with Ex-Deputy Prime Minister lal Krishna Advani in JP Central Jail on Tuesday, proved fruitful on Wednesday when senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha and 57 other party workers filed their bail petition in the court of CJM Hazaribagh and SDJM Ramgarh. After Advani’s visit it was almost clear that Sinha was now ready to change his stand of not filing bond paper and on Wednesday after arguments, the courts granted bail to Yashwant and other 57 BJP workers on a bond of `7000 each.

Since the number of involved people from Hazaribagh were 53 including Yashwant, it took time in preparing release papers. The papers reached to JP Central Jail after 4 p.m. so Yashwant and the BJP workers of Hazaribagh were not released. The release orders of 5 BJP workers reached  JP Central Jail in time so they were released on Wednesday.

Earlier Advocate Prabhat Singh and others filed bail petitions of Yashwant Sinha and other BJP workers in the court of CJM.

Ex-Advocate General of Jharkhand Anil Kumar Sinha appeared before the court on behalf of Yashwant and other party workers and after hearing his arguments the honorable judge granted bail to everyone.

As the news of bail to Yashwant spread in the town all eyes turned towards JP Central Jail where large number of BJP workers and general people gathered to welcome him but after 4:30 p.m when it became clear that they are not going to come out everyone returned with a determination to come back on Thursday morning. BJP workers, media persons and general people are now eagerly waiting to hear Yashwant and his fellow party workers who are in jail since 3rd of June.

Meanwhile in a latest development the General Manager of Jharkhand State Electricity Board, Hazaribagh, Dhanesh Jha gave his statement in the court under section 164. In his statement he had said that he recognizes Yashwant Sinha very well and had not seen Sinha at the spot on 2nd of June, the day of incident. In his statement he has said that in his petition to police he had written Yashwant’s name because others had informed him that Yashwant Sinha was there leading the agitators.

On the other hand the enthusiastic BJP workers of Hazaribagh are now planning to intensify the agitation and they are going to add the matter of law and order and drinking water facility to everyone in this agitation. Since last 15 days the continuous visits of state and national level leaders of their party to Hazaribagh have worked as a morale booster for the workers and now they want to see Yashwant on the driving seat of Jharkhand BJP as soon as possible.
