Presents his report card, challenges opponents to publicise their achievements
BJP Veteran Yashwant Sinha was all praise for his son Jayant Sinha, who is contesting the polls from Hazaribagh constituency on party ticket. The former Union Minister on Wednesday read out an excerpt from the convocation speech of Dean, Harvard Business School, USA in a PC organised in Hazaribagh on Wednesday.
“I would like to praise Jayant Sinha. We erroneously notified him that he would be designated a Baker Scholar. After examining the criteria, he went to our registrar to correct the error. It would have been very easy, and even rewarding, for him to permit our error to go undetected. His actions demonstrate the honesty, integrity and character that we believe are important criteria for the MBA degree. Through his actions he has distinguished himself and honored all of us,” Yashwant said.
It is a certificate of honesty of candidate Jayant Sinha and now the people will have to decide whether they will choose those who are under CBI scanner or those who believes in DMK (Daru, Murga, Khassi), said the veteran campaign manager of Jayant, his father Yashwant Sinha.
Yashwant also distributed the reports of his achievements as MP of Hazaribagh among the mediamen and said that distribution of this pamphlet is going on in entire constituency. Though I am not in the fray but all opponents of BJP are targeting me, so it was necessary.
He challenged the opponents especially Saurav, loknath and BP Mehta to publicise their achievements as MP/MlA so that the people can judge who is telling truth and who is lying.
Ex-CM Marandi is regularly making baseless and false allegations against me during his visit of this constituency that I have notallotted a single pie for Hazaribagh railway project as finance minister. It cannot be believed that an Ex-CM and Ex-Central Minister do not know that for Railway projects it is the Railway Ministry which allots money not the Finance Ministry or Finance Minister. It simply means that Marandi is lying or trying to fool the public for votes only.
Targeting JVM candidate AK Mishra Sinha said that it is not clear that he himself ever got ‘success’ in any competition or not but enjoys the title ‘Success Guru’ and challenged him to publicise what he had paid to the IT department from the earning of his institute and speeches.
When asked about his future plans, Yashwant laughed and replied “Will grow some more roses in my garden and will continue serving the people and the society” and concluded with “Virodhiyon ki Chhati par Moong Dalta Rahunga”.
