Jharia Division of Tata Steel commemorated World AIDS Day on Tuesday with its mission to improve the healthcare facilities and raising awareness on HIV/AIDS by organising a virtual session hosted by health practitioners.
A Barun Baneerjee, Head (Bhelatand Colliery) Tata Steel was the Chief Guest for the programme.
The online session was conducted by Dr N Kumar, Senior Consultant (Dermatology) TCH Jamadoba and Benazir Perween, Counsellor Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre, PHC Chasnala who informed the audience on the precautionary measures to undertake to prevent the condition.
Drawing and slogan writing competition for adolescents and youth was also hosted and winners were facilitated.
