A one-day workshop on “Sexual Harassment at Workplace pertaining to Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act, 2013 was organized for women officers and women workers at Human Resource Development Center of Bokaro Steel Plant. The workshop was inaugurated by Sameer Swarup, ED (Personnel and Administration). During this, CGM (Projects) A. Kushwaha, CGM (HRD) Niranjan Kumar, General Manager (HRD) Neeta Ba along with women officers and women employees of various departments were present.
In the beginning of the workshop, A. Kushwaha welcomed the chief guest and the participants and gave information on the purpose of the workshop. During the workshop, Junior Manager (Law) Ayushi Tiwari made a presentation through which awareness made about sexual harassment at workplace as per law, unacceptable behavior, maintaining respectful behavior towards self and others, various provisions of Sexual Harassment Act etc. Other speakers also shared information on various aspects of this important topic. At the end of the workshop the vote of thanks was given by Nita Ba, General Manager (HRD) and Amit Anand, Senior Manager (HRD) coordinated the workshop.
