A workshop on forest rights act 2006 was organised on Wednesday May 20 in district board office meeting hall. In this meeting, trained personnels of NGOs, Jharkhand forest rights act and poorest area civil society program gave a detailed account of every aspect of the act to the participating official and staffs of different Government departments.
Inaugurating the workshop DC Mukesh Kumar said that this workshop will certainly help in implementing the forest rights act properly in the district and the actual beneficiaries will get the benefits of this act. DC hoped that the NGOs will soon arrange such workshops at block and panchayat levels to make the people aware of this act.
