A workshop-cum-training programme was organised in the community hall near St. Columbas College for the supervisors and their assistants, who had been given the duty of making economic census of the Hazaribagh Sadar block.
In this workshop, trainer Anish Ahmad and Nikesh Kumar said that the last date of submission of data is November 16 so before this date they will have to collect the data by going from door-to-door. They cleared that this economic census will be done on the basis of general census 2011.
The trainers illustrated about the papers to be filled by the supervisors and their assistants.
During this economic census the Government representative will visit every house and will ask 26 questions related to the economic condition of each family and each member.
In Hazaribagh district, economic census started last week in some blocks and from Monday it will start in rest of the blocks. In the inaugural session of the workshop BDO, CO and other officers of the block were present.
