Although in minority, women showed great interest in the FJCCI elections as they camped at the polling station even after exercising their vote. Businesswomen, like Soni Mehta, Punam Anand exercised their franchise in the election. They talked about agenda, candidate and the future under the next president and his team.
“Chamber has been working in the interest of businessmen so whoever gets elected cannot escape accountability. They have to work as there is no alternative,” said Anand.
