Disillusioned with the party ideology and to lead a normal life in society, three CPI(M) extremists including one woman ultra surrendered before the Garhwa SP Sudhir Kumar Jha, on Friday.
According to Garhwa SP, notable among them are one area commander Akshay Korwa and others his wife Basanti Korwa and his own brother Raju Korwa. With this, the surrenders during this year till date has touched six, all of them belong to CPI (M).
SP informed that about one and half dozen cases has been lodged against surrendered area commander in Chatisgarh, Garhwa and latehar. While his wife Basanti was involvement in two Naxal violence cases and brother Raju was involved in four cases. SP said that as per the Government norms, proper medical facilities, education facilities, roads, drinking water, and unemployment problem will be solved. land will be provided to the landless in the region. SP said that they have been surrendered before the police after motivation of CRPF Assistant Comandant Niraj Shakiya. SP congratulate the Shakiya for this breakthrough.
