Diwali celebrations turned into mourning after an elderly woman died in an accident on Thursday morning.
According to the police a woman named Kanti Devi (60) died after the driver of Maruti Alto car lost control and hit her; later the car fell into a drain on lake Road in Bokaro. With the help of the locals the woman was rushed to the Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) where doctors declared her brought dead, police said.
