Tetari Devi, wife of Arun Baiyar, a resident of Dhanimandra village under Bhawanathpur police station was injured in a landmine blast. She was admitted to Sadar Hospital Garhwa for treatment on late Saturday evening.
According to the information, Tetari Devi went to a farm to cut grass in her village on Saturday. In the same time, she put her left leg on a bomb. His foot was badly injured in the explosion. After this incident, his neighbors brought him to Bhawnathpur Primary Health Center for treatment.
After primary treatment doctors reffered her to Sadar Hospital Garhwa. Doctor stated that her condition is said to be stable. In the Sadar Hospital, victim said that there was a bomb in the farm. She do not know about this.Villagers said that there was no such incident in their village before this.
The villagers are being suspected that someone has kept a bomb in the field to hunt wild boar. Women got injured due to her leg was fell on it. Garhwa SP Mohammed Arshi said that no such type (explossive) bomb was found there but the cracker bomb has been found, which the villagers keep cracker bomb in their fields to protect their crops from wild animals.
