A woman lost her life after coming into contact with a live wire in Saria block in Giridih district on Friday night. The incident happened at Keshwari village at around 9 pm. The deceased has been identified as Puspa Devi (30) wife of Kuldip Yadav, working as an Aganwadi sewika in the same block, police said.
According to reports Puspa Devi was inside her house and by mistake came in contact with a live wire following which she died on the spot. Her family members tried to save her but failed. After knowing the incident local BJP MlA Nagendra Mahto and others local leaders reached there to console the family.
