Phulmani Toppo, a resident of lutiya colony of Dipugarha area of Hazaribagh town, who was staying alone, died mysteriously last night. In the morning when the residents of that colony saw her body in a well they called the police.
The police team came and fished out the body from the well with the help of the colony residents. When the body came out everyone identified her as Phulmani Toppo, who was residing in the colony since long and was a daily wage labourer. When the police team visited her house, the outer door was open and in search of some clues police got over Rs 1.5 lakh cash. The cash was hidden in her clothes. The residents of lutiya colony said Toppo had a daughter who had got married two years ago.
After thoroughly searching her house and the site from where her body was found, police are taking this case as an accident.
