Twenty three-year-old Manisha Devi, wife of Sanjay Kisku, resident of Tulbul Kadal tola under Gomia police station area, committed suicide by hanging herself at home on Friday morning.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Gomia police reached the spot and started an investigation. Police station in-charge Rajesh Ranjan said that Sanjay Kisku had filed a case of missing person of his wife. She was missing from home for the last 10-15 days. On Thursday night the police recovered her and handed him over to Sanjay Kisku. After this both husband and wife went home.
According to the information, on Friday morning Sanjay had gone to call the people of the village asking for a Panchayat on the issue of his wife repeatedly running away from home. When he returned home, he saw that the door was locked from inside.
