A woman, Balki Devi (35), committed suicide by consuming poison at Dantu Harizen tola, under the Kasmar police station in Bokaro district on Tuesday night.
The villagers told the police that the woman probably took the extreme step due to some family dispute, said officer-in charge Chandervan Ram. The villagers came to know about the incident on Wednesday morning and informed the local police about the incident. The Kasmar police officer in charge Chandervan Ram said the deceased’s husband Mahindra Ghasi is working as daily wage labour.
