An unidentified woman committed suicide along with her child by jumping on railway track at Parasnath railway station, 30 km away from Gomoh rail police station on Thursday morning at around 8 am.
Eyewitness said the accident occurred around 8 am when the DN goods train was crossing the west cabin of Parasnath railway station. An unidentified woman (30), along with her 10-year-old son, was standing near the railway tracks and suddenly jumped on the tracks. In the process, they were run over, the Assistant station master BB Kumar reported. late in afternoon, the railway police Gomoh rushed to the spot. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Railway police in-charge of Gomoh said woman may be mentally depressed. We are trying to ascertain the exact reason behind the suicide.
