A 35 year-old woman, identified as Malti Devi, reportedly committed suicide by hanging self to death in her house in Uppar Dak banglow near Jarangdih under BokaroThermal police station area here on Friday, said Inspector cum Officer in-Charge Sailesh Kumar Chauhan.
On Friday morning when Malti Devi did not open the door. Her family members and neighbours informed police and broke the door open. Varsha was hanging dead from the ceiling.
Cops sent the body to Sub divisional hospital Tenughat for postmortem. A case of unnatural death was registered in this connection. The husband of the deceased, Shiv Prasad said that there is no problem of any kind in the house, today suddenly she committed suicide after waking up at 5 am.
Police said no suicide note was found from the scene. They said the woman was depressed for the last few days.
