A 20-year-old woman committed suicide by consuming poison at her house at Kandutola within Bagodar police station on Saturday. Police said she was upset as her husband had gone to Mumbai for work. She was married to him in April this year. The diseased has been identified as Puja Kumari wife of Mukesh Kumar. She was living with her mother in law in Bagodar. Police said the incident happened in the morning when Puja was alone in the home. She consumed some pesticide along with her food. When family members who returned and knocked on the door they did not get any response. They alerted the neighbours who broke open the door and found the woman dead.
Police did not find out any suicide note from the spot but preliminary revealed she was living under depression while her husband was not at home in Kandutola.
