Withdrawal of divisional headquarter rumor: Jayant

MP cum MoS Jayant Sinha clearly said that the agitation going on against the alleged decision of the State Government regarding withdrawal of North Chotanagpur divisional headquarter is wrong as it is based on false information. "I have talked with the CM and other officials of the state and found that it is only a rumor," he said.

Talking on the issue of irrational hike in holding tax Jayant said that he was too surprised with this hike. "I have talked with CM, Minister and senior officials of the state government and they have assured me to reconsider this decision. It looks that some mistake has taken place at any point while fixing the recent rate of holding tax in Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation area and hope that it will be corrected soon," he added.

Regarding Nagwa air strip Sinha said that 27 acres land is yet to be acquired and the process is going on. Soon 300 acres of land will be available for Hazaribagh air strip and then work will start. He also informed that the investors willing to invest in food processing units at Hazaribagh have refused to install their units here so it will take time as efforts are on to invite some new investors.
