Ashok Bhagat, social activist
Noted social activist Ashok Bhagat believes that harnessing the power of youth would help a great deal in the development of the State. Bhagat who has been involved in several programmes of social significance will focus on the youth of the State and will impart skills to make them contribute in the development of the State. As many as 10,000 people in various panchayats are said to be in touch with Vikas Bharti, the institution run by the social activist. Significantly, in the New Year Bhagat has decided to renew efforts in the direction of women empowerment and establishing herbal centres across the State.
