Asserting to give results in six months, the newly appointed Advocate General Ajit Kumar said that he will try to ease out things for the people with a motive of no trouble to anyone. Talking to ‘The Pioneer’ Kumar said that he will also make efforts that Advocate General’s office works in a better way to minimise Government related cases pending at the High Court.
“I hope that within a period of six months or one year, I will be able to solve large number of cases pending in the High Court as my work will be result oriented. I have plans and I will execute it,” said Kumar. The State Empowered Committee and District Empowered Committee, which are in the domain of Advocate General’s Office, must really work and give results having access to anyone, he added.
Referring to State litigation Policy which has been formed in the State on the basis of National litigation Policy of which Advocate General is the Chairperson, he said that it was not functioning properly and needs to be activated.
“I have to activate that body which, according to me, is not functioning properly. By activating that body, a large number of matters could be disposed-off giving correct message to the people all over the State,” said Kumar. He said that he will also find ways and means to give opportunity to those who could really deliver things by appointing capable, efficient law officers.
The newly appointed AG also said that he will try his level best that the State does not suffer. “As Additional AG, I have enough experience of working in the State and hence it is a good chance for me to deliver things.
