The RR Sporting club puja committee is preparing puja pandal based on specific themes since 1982. Presently, 60 active members from different fields are associated with this puja pandal committee.

The theme has been designed using light and sound technology and will be changed in every 15 minutes leaving visitors startled. The concept every year is planed after researching the incident which had a long lasting impact on denizens mind, said RR Sporting club puja committee president, Rahul Yadav.

“The whole pandal is prepared keeping eco-friendly concept in mind this year. Idols are being prepared using coloured wax whereas decoration is being done on thermocol, ply boards and other recyclable materials,” Yadav said.

With Rs. 35 lakh spent in the project designing, artists along with trained technicians are preparing the eco friendly model of Nepal Earthquake incident with thermocol and other biodegradable materials. The most attractive feature will be the 80 ft. statuettes made up of coloured wax.

Highlighting the agony of Nepal earthquake with special effects exterior decoration has been crafted out by the technicians of Medinipur, West Bengal. However, keeping the interior decoration little wacky to grab the attention of people, Idols will be placed inside a cavern. The height of the puja pandal this time is approximately 110 ft. with 40 ft width.

Creative hands from Haldia and Medinipur district are involved in designing miniature work on ply boards for the propitious occasion on pandal premises. An artist who was busy inking some traditional relics on thermocol on the pandal premises, added, “Every year we come to Ranchi with some special themes this year too we have something special to offer. Approximately, 51 artists are working vigorously to complete the pandal before the deadline. Apart from idol and pandal decoration, the illumination effects will mesmerize the visitors and add to the beauty of pandal.”

located in one of the busiest street of the capital city, special security arrangements have been made to tackle the teeming crowd on spot, “We have collaborated with the district administrations and have also hired our own volunteers to help the public.
