Bokaro: Villagers from various areas of the Bokaro constituency met with MLA Biranchi Narayan to express their grievances regarding severe water shortages. Narayan stated that the central Modi government has initiated several schemes to provide water to every household in Jharkhand. He highlighted that approximately ₹500 crore has been allocated for water supply projects in Bokaro. However, the state government's Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has completed only 40% of these projects, leading to a dire water crisis in both urban and rural areas of the constituency.

MLA Narayan criticized the state government, accusing it of neglecting public welfare schemes. He noted that the people are facing significant hardships due to the lack of electricity and water.

Narayan assured that he would raise the issue of water and electricity shortages in the upcoming summer session of the assembly. "If necessary, I will stage a protest in front of the assembly to wake up this deaf and mute government," he declared.

The meeting was attended by several BJP leaders and workers, including Kanhaiya Pandey, Surajmani Devi, Pinky Devi, Dudal Devi, Lakshmi Devi, Bindiya Devi, Rani Devi, Samli Devi, Alomni Devi, Rita Devi, Pushpa Devi, Haricharan Prasad, Ajay Thakur, Gaju Prasad, Dinbandhu, Umakant, Prakash, and Chandan.
