A woman died while three other got injured after being bitten by a wasp at Chandramarni village when they were on way to forest with their cattle on Sunday morning. 45 year-old Kausailya Devi was bitten by the poisonous wasp, police sources said.
According to report, five women of Chandramarni village in Giridih district were going to forests early morning on Sunday when a group of wasp bite all of them. They were rushed to the local hospital where Kausailya Devi died during her treatment while others are said to be critical.
An autopsy report revealed that Kausailya Devi died from anaphylatic shock due to the bite. “Her death is only the second in the district history from a wasp bite,” hospital reported. After the incident local BJP MlA Nagendra Mahto and other leaders visited nearby hospital assured them all help.
