Adding more to the problems of Ranchi Mayor Rama Khalkho, the vigilance court on Friday issued warrant of Proclamation against her.
After the police failed to arrest her, it had requested to issue warrant of Proclamation against her. Earlier, the vigilance court had rejected the anticipatory bail application filed on behalf of Khalkho.
Kahlkho, along with the other Congress leaders is accused in the money grab case where `21.9 lakh was seized from a hotel room on April 7 during a raid conducted by the Ranchi Police ahead of the Municipal elections in Ranchi.
According to the police, the money was to be used for influencing voters in Khalkho’s favour who was also a Mayoral candidate in the Municipal Elections.
According to the police, it has received the warrant of proclamation from which will be pasted at her residence soon, most probably, within a day or two.
“We have received the order which will be pasted at her residence soon,” said OC of lalpur police station Jitenrda Kumar.
