In successful anti-extremist operation, the Bokaro police and a posse of CRPF jawans, led by officer-in charge of Mahuataard police station Manilal Rana, nabbed one dreaded CPI (Maoist) extremist on Tuesday evening.
The arrested extremist has been identified as Ganga Ram Manjhi alias Surendra Tuddu, who was wanted in several Naxal-related cases, including killings, ClA (Explosives act), Arms act and damaging the government properties. Dy SP Manoj Kumar Rai said the arrested extremist Manjhi was active member of sub-zonal commander dasta and was arrested under the case no-25/11.
