The year 2013 had been the year of tremendous achievements. Police succeeded to arrest many wanted criminals and naxalites and checked the criminal activities to great extent, said the SP Sunil Bhashkar.
The SP said that from January to December 2013 police had arrested different 325 criminals of different cases from Kudu, Kisko, Senha, Bhandra, Kairo, Jobang and many other Thana. Out of these 56 have been detected belonging to naxal cases.
This was the great achievement for police. Almost 42 had been arrested in Arms cases and other 227 people were held in different cases. In January 2013 police arrested 21 naxalites and 16 others of other cases. In February, police succeed to hold 13 naxals and 12 others along with a loaded pistol, three bullets, SIM cards, five mobile phones, two hand grenades, an old jeep, a Bajaj Platinum motor cycle and letter pads of naxals.
In March 26 arrested in different 4 cases of Arms Act along with a Sumo vehicle, a local gun, gun powder, bullets of iron, two robbed motor cycles, coal loaded trucks, a pick up van, a tempo, a robed set of computer and fake identity cards. In April 21 were held in different 4 Arms cases along with two local guns, an automatic pistol, a live bullet, three mobiles, pithhu, step riser, Rs1500 case and many other things.
In May 14 were arrested in different 13 cases with a regular carbine, a local gun, seven live bullets, three detonators, and 40 bags of Ammonium Nitrate, a Bolero full of maxies, three mobile phones and naxal periodicals. In June 4 were held in two cases of Arms Act in different 19 cases with two local guns, explosives, four trucks, a tempo, pick up van, three motor cycles, pamphlets of TPC, mobiles and other belongings.
In July 2013 4 were held in 8 Arms Act in different 24 cases with two loaded pistols, a local gun, a desi pistol, a magazine, 20 thousands cash, narcotics, a truck loaded with buffaloes. In August 2 were held in Arms Act and other 11 were held in different cases. Police recovered a local pistol and different knives from them. In Sep 6 were held in Arms act and there 6 in different cases along with a local rifle, four local pistols, a revolver, bullets, mobiles, a tempo and 23 cartoons of illicit wines. In October 12 were arrested in different cases. In November 2 were arrested in Arms Act and 16 in other cases. Police recovered two local pistols, a live bullet, irrigation machine, two mobiles, and 35 liters of wine. In Dec 2013 4 were held in Arms Act and other 51 in different cases. Police recovered a local pistol, a loaded pistol, four bullets, two knives, three kg of narcotics, 45 liters of vile and a number of wine bottles from them.
