Protesting against the brutal killing of a woman and his kid hundreds of villagers of Choufan village met the police official and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits who were still out of police net. On Saturday mid-night a man allegedly axed his brother’s wife and five year old child to death at Choufan village under Herla police station in Bokaro and late escaped.
According to the police Dinesh Kumar Mahato allegedly killed Sandhya Devi (26) and Sujal (5) and escaped after locking the door. At the time of incident Binod Mahato husbanded of the deceased was on his duty (night shift), said the police. Meanwhile, Dulal Mahato the father of the deceased Sandhya Devi lodged a case at Herla police in which he made accused five of the family members including Binod, Dinesh, Birendra, their father Durga Mahato and his daughter-in-law, said OC of the police station. ‘No arrest has been made, we are still investigating into matter and raids are on’, said OC of Herla police station.
