Dreaded gangster Vikas Tiwari, recently arrested and brought from Delhi to Hazaribagh, was sent back to the Central jail after his three-day remand ended on Saturday. According to police sources, Tiwari confessed that they had planned to kill Sunil Sivasatava at RIMS in Ranchi but later changed their plan.
Sources said that Tiwari and his men had got the information that the jail administration was going to send Sushil Srivastava to RIMS Ranchi for treatment. And it would have been easier to shoot him at RIMS. But, when they came to know that the jail administration had changed its decision they decided to kill him in court campus.
In his confession Vikash Tiwari said that Sushil Srivastava and his gang was damaging them monetarily and the manpower strength of their group so there was no alternative before them otherwise to kill him.
One shooter Raju Singh contacted Tiwari because he was in need of money and he finally accepted to gun down Sushil for `30 lakhs, said sources. Tiwari also informed about the other persons involved in this planned murder and now police has started search operation of the three accused who are yet out of net.
After the court shootout incident Tiwari first went to Patna, then to Aurangabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Assam and Delhi again where he was arrested by the police. He said that after the incident main shooter Raju Singh never contacted him and he do not know where he
is nowadays.
