The stage is all set to celebrate the Statehood Day of Jharkhand in a big way. On the occasion of 16th Foundation Day of Jharkhand, vivid cultural activities have been planned by the district administration to make the occasion a memorable one for one and all.
With the theme ‘Momentum Jharkhand’ (a global investors summit), the two days grand event being organised on grand scale will ensure equal participation of each district and every department of the State Government in Capital city, marking the spirit of the tribal land at global dome.
From ‘Vikas Mela’ to theme park activities, Morhabadi ground will be decked up accordingly this season. Beside, other programme denizens will also have an opportunity to experience some mouth smacking cuisines of Jharkhand this Statehood Day. The main event will be conducted at Football Stadium, Morhabadi.
“On November 14 and 15 Vikas Mela will be organised for two days at Morhabadi ground. The entire State Government departments will participate in the fair depicting their ongoing plans and policies. Separate stalls of each department will be put up here. This apart, all the 24 districts will also put of their stalls depicting the specialty of their district this year, be it a place or some famous personality of that particular region,” said Ranchi DC Manoj Kumar.
“A separate theme park depicting the rich legacy and culture of State based on the concept of ‘Momentum Jharkhand’ theme has been planned. With the security point of view, Morhabadi Football stadium has been selected for the main event programme. All work at the Football stadium is being completed with the assistance of building construction and energy department,” added Kumar.
The district administration has also planned to conduct firecrackers show on the eve of the Statehood Day. To mark the occasion, administration has also invited approximately five lakh students to participate in ‘Prabhat Pheri’ from across the State on November 15.
In addition, all security arrangements are being ensured by the department personnel as per the instructions that are being received regularly by the organising teams. Sitting galleries, fence work and CCTV cameras arrangement will be arranged at the main spot at earliest, said Kumar while briefing about the preparation of 16th Statehood Day.
