Vikas Bharti, Bishunpur has decided to expand the project of constructing sack - dams at the state level under which entire Ranchi will also be covered including Chatwal River in Chanho, Saphi River in Khalari block, Bharkandia River in Bero block and over the river of Duarmaria village under Rahe block.
Villagers of Kolsimri village under Kudu block put a sack dam over Shankh River and Nandini River in lohardaga on Friday. A drive of putting sack-dams has been launched by Vikas Bharti Bishunpur on February 15 under which putting up sack dams over various rivers in the region will continue till February 25.
