The Vigilance Registrar in the Jharkhand High Court Mushtaq Ahmed was finally suspended by the Jharkhand High Court on Thursday. Ahmed, allegedly, was the person who motivated Ranjeet Kohli's wife Tara Shahdeo to marry him and acted as his guardian during the whole episode.
Registrar General of Jharkhand High Court AK Chaudhary said that Ahmed has been suspended and served a show cause notice to clarify his stand on the allegations made by Shahdeo. Ahmed has been given three weeks' time to reply to the notice, he added.
Shahdeo had been alleging that Ahmed was the person who arranged their marriage with Hindu tradition at Hotel Radisson Blu and came to their house the same night with Muslim clerics to solemnize their Nikah.
