Deputy Commissioner Chhaviranjan on Sunday launched the State’s enrollment campaign Vidyalaya Chale, Chalayen campaign at Birsa Sanskritik Bhawan in Koderma. The DC said that the programme was launched by the Government for the children aged between six and 14 years who are still out of school. This has prompted the State Government to pursue its annual enrollment drive for students with renewed vigour and under a new name.

Jitendra Kumar Sinha, District Superintendent (DSE) in his welcome speech said, “The campaign has been launched with a special focus on enrolling the dropout children at cradles and then retaining them in classes.” “After April 30, the State will start another drive, an-year long initiative, called ‘Prayas’ to ensure the enrolled children do not drop out again from their respective schools,” added DSE Sinha

Vote of thanks delivered by District Education Officer Sushil Roy while Ashwini Kumar Sinha anchor the programme. Shalini Gupta, Domchanch Pramukh, Ramdhan Yadav Member District Board, Bajrangi Prasad, Chairman Jhumaritelaiya Nagar Parshad, Sabban Miyan, Chairman Koderma Nagar Panchayat, and teachers from across the district were present at the moment.
