Vidisha's relatives suspect manipulation of post-mortem report

Relatives of Vidisha Roy suspect foul play in the post-mortem report of the 14-year old girl who had died under mysterious circumstances on September 13 and alleged manipulation of the report to save the culprits named by them in the complaint. Roy, a student of  Central Academy, was found hanging from the ceiling of her hostel room in Bariatu.

“We were denied the post mortem report until we forced them to hand over the report. But sadly the Police did not handover the video footage of the post mortem. We suspect that it has been manipulated to benefit those accused,” said Munna, Vidisha’s uncle.

Interestingly, relatives of Vidisha made wild allegations against Police and alleged them of ignoring complain against the Chairman of Central Academy Harishanker Chaturvedi and Assistant Director of World Buddha Foundation, Subhash Kirpekar.

“The culprit is roaming freely while the Police is waiting for them to turn up at the Police Station,” said Vidisha’s uncle. The suicide note said to have recovered by the Police has not been verified by an expert, asserted Vidisha’s uncle.

“Her (Vidisha) friends not expert verified the handwriting in the suicide note,” said Vidisha’s uncle. However, the district Police has denied any laxity on their part and sought to dispel relative’s concerns of manipulation.“The DSP has not given me the report. Unless the investigations complete we cannot arrest anybody,” said City SP Manoj Ratan Chothe.
