Verma slams Choudhary again on MSD retirement

The row over Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s declination letter to BCCI on January 4 to lead Indian Cricket Team of One Day and 20-20 formats anymore is not appearing to end at least for a couple of days, as Aditya Verma came down heavily once again on Sunday over Amitabh Choudhary accusing him of forcing Dhoni to resign untimely.

Cricket Association of Bihar Secretary Verma called a press conference on Sunday to accuse BCCI Secretary and former president of Jharkhand State Cricket Association Choudhary of pressurising Dhoni to get down.

He said that Dhoni was just one match away of leading Indian One Day Cricket team in 200 matches and alleged that the former Indian captain and Ranchi lad was wrongly pressed for not playing in Ranji Trophy semi-final in which Jharkhand lost to Gujarat. He also sought investigation of Dhoni’s resignation matter, so that the truth prevails.
